KINETIC EVALUATION PLATFORMS
Northstrike SwarmCore (NSC) is a fully containerized, hardware-agnostic architecture designed to integrate seamlessly into existing allied ground and aerial vehicles. To rapidly validate these capabilities in real-world environments, Northstrike develops proprietary, sub-scale Software Evaluation Platforms (SEPs).
MINERVA MK.1 (UGV)
[ STATUS: ALPHA PROTOTYPING - CLASSIFIED ]
A ruggedized, all-terrain Uncrewed Ground Vehicle serving as the kinetic backbone of the swarm. Engineered for rapid deployment, the Minerva Mk.1 utilizes 360-degree spatial mapping and passive acoustic sentry modes to dominate terrestrial environments. It provides infantry with an autonomous, unjammable forward scout capable of navigating complex terrain entirely independent of human intervention.
NOCTUA MK. 1 (UAS)
[ STATUS: ALPHA PROTOTYPING - CLASSIFIED ]
A lightweight, highly attritable tactical quadcopter engineered for persistent aerial overwatch. Acting as the "Eye in the Sky" for the ground units, the Noctua Mk.1 utilizes advanced optical payloads to spot threats and beam coordinates to the swarm. Furthermore, it operates as an elevated mesh-network relay, extending the swarm's communication link over mountains and urban obstacles.
LEADERSHIP & ARCHITECTURE
Brad Conlin | Founder & CEO
Brad is a Systems Architect, Data Scientist, and Cybersecurity expert with extensive experience engineering Big Open Source Data infrastructure across both government agencies and the private sector. A published researcher in machine learning and anomaly detection, Brad previously served as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching applied data science and cybersecurity to graduate students.
While pursuing his PhD in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, Brad recognized a fatal vulnerability in modern defense doctrine: the overwhelming reliance on centralized, easily jammed cloud networks. Frustrated by the shifting, non-technical priorities of modern academic institutions, he made the deliberate decision to walk away from his doctoral research to build Northstrike Robotics.
Choosing applied tactical engineering over academic theory, Brad serves as the CEO and Lead Engineer of Northstrike. He personally architects the Swarm Core AI from the ground up and leads all physical hardware integration. His mission is to engineer the decentralized, EW-hardened infrastructure required to secure the tactical edge. Northstrike operates and conducts its live-environment testing out of a private 100+ acre R&D facility in Ontario, Canada.
